HutchinsonA_AloneTime_01_SRGB_Watermark

This is my fourth image I created for my zombie series. I always envisioned doing an older version of myself as a knitting zombie, and one night this photo just popped into my head and I knew I had to take it! I began collecting props for this image over the past few weeks, and I did my own wardrobe and makeup. The other images in this series are Time for Tea, Pancake Breakfast, and Scared of the Dark.

This is a video I made as a Commercial Photography student for a final project at Randolph Community College during my Fall 2014 semester. I designed and hand painted my set, and made my characters from clay. For my lighting, I used a combination of seven household lights and lamps, with various bulbs, depending on the scene they were used for, and two flashlights. Some of the lights were snooted with a paper coffee cup lined with silver aluminum foil. I shot a total of 1600 still images for this 2-minute video, which plays at 11 frames/sec. I edited my individual images in Lightroom, and composed the video in Photoshop. Jupitor composed the music for this video.
