One of the best things (if only the best thing!) about having a sick day, is it gives you all the time in the world to scan some of those old negatives you never got around to! Going through all these negatives definitely makes me want to get out there and start shooting some more film. I still get amazed at the quality of the negative over digital! Love love love film! Here is one of my favorites from today’s sick day scanning! This image was shot outside an abandoned house with my Mamiya RB67 camera.

Last summer I took a trip to beautiful Asheville, North Carolina for a week and shot several rolls of slide film with my  Mamiya RB67 Medium Format film camera.  I recently crossed-processed the rolls and began to scan them in. These two images are shown full-frame, so you see the edge of my negative, and have not been edited. I love how vivid the colors become during the cross-processing!
