I worked as a set dresser for Season 12, Episode 2 of HGTV‘s Love it or List it. This home was definitely one of my favorite of all the renovations that I was apart of. Take a look at the before & after gallery here!
Repost: Busy professionals, Anne and Nathan traded in their high-end condominium for an open living mid century house. While Nathan loves the form and historic quality of the home, Anne only sees the many problems with its function. Now that they are expecting their first child, Anne is ready to move to a new house, or back to a condo that does not have a long to do list. Will realtor David find them a family ready home? Or will designer Hilary make daily life immeasurably easier by reinventing many of the home’s hotly debated spaces?
Do we know what happened to the original kitchen?
Hi. Thanks for the question. Unfortunately I believe all the pieces that were removed have been demolished.
Hi great work on this house! It looked to streamlined and clean. Loved the bright colors too. Would you know or be able to share any information about about one of the homes for sale that was shown to the couple? Specifically the blue craftsman style that the couple deemed to far away? I know this is a long shot but I loved that house!
Hi! Thanks for the question. Unfortunately I am not involved in that part of the process, so I don’t have that information for you. You can try to email loveitliveit@bigcoattv.com and see if they can help! Thanks!
Julie, did you ever find out about the blue/gray home? I love the floor plan too!!
I did find the house! It was by Gallvin Home Builders. It was a lot more sq ft than they listed it as on the show. It’s 4046sq ft. http://www.gallvinhomebuilders.com
Do you know the address of the craftsman style house?
What city is this house located in?
Hello. Thanks for the question. While I am not allowed to disclose personal details about the property, such as the city, I can say that it is located in North Carolina and in wake county. Thanks. You can try to email loveitliveit@bigcoattv.com for more information.
Raleigh, NC
Good lord. Possibly the most stunning original house I’ve seen on Love it or List it. Everyone involved took a glorious house and made it a fantastic home. Major hat tip to you.
This was a great house. Do you know who the architect is?
